    Schwab recognizes SWIFT numbers, though it set off their fraud detection when I did it and required a call to authorize the transfer.

    Whoever owns the bank account in the US should be able to do it. Some banks here have an alternate routing number for banks that don't recognize swift numbers.

    I indicate how many pesos I wish the other account to receive and my bank charge me in dollars from my account. My bank doesn't charge me a wire transfer fee. 300 pesos charged by receiving bank.

    If you don't have a USA bank acct then consider Western Union or Moneygram.

    A lot of the old timers still just write out a check payable to their account here takes about 1 month or more to clear no charges nothing?
