Is it becoming frown upon to to wish people well?
    Merry Christmas....Take care.....Stay safe......God bless......My thoughts n prayers......
    ...Happy new year, etc.
Is it accepted in the true meaning it's intended, or just looked upon as thoughtless repetition?
Are you Cynical or Genial .............?

There are many hypocrites around, but I am not sure whether it's getting worse.
I think it's pretty much always been like that.

People might wish you well one day, and overcharge you for a product or service the next.
Trying to profit from someone else's misery is a widespread evil; just ask people in Cebu and Bohol how they feel about paying 50 peso to charge their phone or 100 peso per liter for fuel for their bike, or worst of all, 100 peso for a 12 peso bottle of water in the aftermath of the storm.
Or they might say they believe in the bible (that "love thy neighbour" and "turn the other cheek" book), sit in church and pray one day, and then harm someone the next day or favour starting a war anyway.

Luckily though, it isn't anywhere near a majority, most people are good people, who try to live a good life and will try to help others if they can.

Agree. There have always been horrible people. I don't think it has gotten any worse, social media and the news just makes it more visible.

Majority of Peoples on this Earth wait their entire life to be a "complete f#cK....UP" I am positive about that.
So they create a Satin to blame...and why not.... they follow some God of a Mans mythical creation.

Maybe you should give this advice to a cycle rickshaw driver in Mumbai.

Maybe true maybe not. It depends on how you define success.

My brother the accountant sits in a fancy retirement home with a gold plated toilet, not that he really needs it as a nurse wipes hit butt regularly with 3 ply tissue. The high points in his life revolve around which stock trades brought him to his climax. He was always happy to screw anybody and everybody for the fun of winning.
For me well. I raced motor cycle, owned and rode some fine horses at the international level (bottom end, but still). Had a few nice trucks, travelled around a lot for work and pleasure.

My Bro can sit around with nothing of importance to say and I can sit around with friends and a case of cheap beer and have stories to tell.

Who succeeded? That depends on how you define success.
