Kitchens and Termites

That looks great! Mosquitos don't seem to be a huge issue at our place in Bacong. We spend many nights outside when we are there, and I don't remember swatting at them or being bit up. Those relatives that camped on our porch did use mosquito netting, so I am sure they are there, they just weren't bad enough for me to notice.

 

I live in Bacong and have a few flying about our terrace, it use to be very bad at one point. I have to apply OFF to my arms and legs if I want to sit outside.
I'v had dengue two times in 5 years which were confirmed lab results.

 

OK I have to come clean on this issue, I have no windowns or any form of glazing in my kitchen as the property is kind of OVERLOOKING, my view from these windows without glass is: Amy with the bigger t*ts than is normal here, (mostly they are just like a couple of small fried eggs) she also has great legs, she plants grass turf on the next Lot to me, which she sells on, well Amy does not wear a Bra and she does a lot of bending over to plant this grass, that is my view and I do like it.

 

Do Amy have a schedule? Then I will make a visit, of course I will bring cold drinks, maybe it will be very hot

 

Could be 'When there are enough men looking'.

 

I would think that if/when we get to celebrate an "end of pandemic" party for dumagueteinfo members, Dave is going to be everyone's favourite appointed volunteer to organize the party. On second thought, it might be a little embarrassing since he can hardly blame Amy when his asawa asks why they've been given the honour

 

I can ensure you that Dave's wife has the same qualities as Amy, so one reason more to have the party at Dave's place Lol

 

Hmmmm .... so is the dividing wall between Dave and Amy a mirror?

 

Always early morning before the sun gets hot and sometimes late afternoon, my wife wonders why I start work so early before 7am? often the late afternoon sessions can be iffy if she has been into town and then she wears her Bra.

 

It is not just the Kitchen that has been done using steel stud framing, the whole house has been built with this material, it is all steel frames and clad with Hardiflex outside and plasterboard (drywall) inside, it does not have the standard foundation used for most houses here it has been constructed on top of a Monolithic slab, this is a concrete slab built more or less on grade, the soil had been compacted then a layer of good gravel also compacted with the concrete ready mix laid on top of that, this slab has beams and rebar cages running through it, in the event of a quake it is designed to float on the surface kind of like a wooden raft on water, not a common application here but used in many other parts of the world, they were never designed to be built on with heavy material such as CHB but more of a US style Clapboard house made in light materials, but well suited to using steel stud framing which is even lighter then wood, for a small house on one level this is such a practical way to go, I would also say that now having the experience of building in this manner, it is highly likely I could build a small basic house of say 56M2 for around a half million pesos, around half the price of a CHB house and complete it in a little more than half the time with only two men, most CHB house use from 8 to 10 men?
So there you have it, cost effective, easily done in less time using less namhours.
