    Why would they REDUCE the number of convenient ways to receive money??
    Ahhh, or more likely, they, along with all the other data collecting apps around, are trying to force you to download their phone apps.. Like banks and PLDT and Smart, which only give promos if you download the "app."

    NORECO doesn't have a phone app. It likely has something to do with the bank wanting to take a larger cut for processing payments or a legal dispute between the two companies.

    As for the phone apps and promos. Thank God for them! I don't want to spend half my day at NORECO paying my bills or at the bank making a deposit/paying bills. If they want to give me a discount or promo for not wasting my time that's an added bonus. My personal data is quite worthless; I never click on ads (unless I really don't like the company or product being shown and I want to increase their advertising costs) and I am about the least interesting person for a government or Philippine corporation to be watching.

    True, no noreco app, although Union Bank online has a "transfer funds to another account" function, and Noreco does have an account there into which you can pay your bill, forward the email transaction confirmation to noreco, and get an email attachment receipt.

    Same as BDO. Can also pay Metro Dumaguete Water and PLDT there.
