    I don't know.
After our 4 month stay in Thailand we are now planning to come to Duma first week of June and need some info.

    1) Looking at a flight that gets us to Manila 6.45pm, is there a hotel at Manila airport? Thinking its a bit late to fly to Duma.

    2) What's the immigration time like at the moment in Manila.

    3) Anyone know of a driver with a van or 4 door pick up to get us from Duma airport, we have oversize language and two kids so need van or pickup.

Thanks in advance, I'm sure I will have more questions.

we've stayed at a couple nearby hotels to the airport over the years....and wished we hadn't for several reasons..they were dumps but made it on international travel website...the traffic noise...bloody roosters even...crap food...slack staff....Spend the taxi fare and go to Makati which we do 9 times out of 10. If you have that much gear I would discuss it with the airport limosine service. They should be able to fix you up to Makati easily.

Have a good life on Negros!

If you don't want a swanky hotel in Makati, just somewhere close that is reasonable and will not break the bank, I recommend the Nichols Airport Hotel. They offer free airport transfer service if you book direct with them (just Google the hotel). They will respond to emails. The location is not great, but only 15 mins drive from the airport (depending which terminal) and walking distance to a few fast-food joints. OK for one night stopover. They have a coffee shop on site, but breakfast was served to the room when we stayed. Lots of luggage and the three of us fitted into their mini-van, no problems.

It has been about 3 years ago since I have stayed at the Belmont hotel. It is connected to Manila Airport Terminal 3, so there may be no need for transportation outside the airport. At that time the hotel had electric golf carts to transport passenger from the hotel to the airport. The rate for me for one night was less than P4000.

Question; Last time I was over, the International and Domestic airports were a fair distance apart, is that that still the case?
Found this Hotel last night seems reasonably priced.

    Plan B.

Flight times, lay overs and luggage allowance was too hard flying to Duma.

So now fly into Cebu, will head down south and stay at the in Laws place a few days, leave the kids and the wife and I will head to Duma on the scoot to find a rental house and schools.

Anyone know any 3 bed rental houses in the Valencia area please let me know.

Link to NAIA map below which should assist.
    https://www.manila-airport.net/map.php

Scroll down the page to find which terminal serves which airlines but basically T1 - International, T2 - PAL, domestic and int, T3 Cebu Pacific, domestic + some International, T4 - domestic

The hotel you mention is quite a distance from the airport - could be 2 hrs + depending on time of day and traffic.

Hope this helps and happy travels!

Also take note if you are flying with Cebu Pacific. I know recently of two people, my wife and an expat friend who arrived at the airport for Manila to Dumaguete flights two hours prior and were not aloud to board due to luggage drop cut offs. Both were pre checked in online. From their stories it seems they were cutting off dozens of people and pushing them on to later or next day flights. The only logic, and I would not put it past an airline to do this, would be they might be spreading weight on full flights to emptier flights for fuel costs.

As Senjenbing states above that hotel in Quezon could be 2+ hours on EDSA so probably not a good choice for airport buffer time.
