Just in case you missed it, this short video (1 minute only) showcases the ability of the James Webb telescope in a totally awesome fashion. The video was released 2 days ago, if you can, watch it on the biggest screen you have available, preferably a large television. Make sure to set the video quality on youtube to the highest your tv will handle, the higher the better (it's available in 4k), and be utterly amazed. The nebula the video concentrates on is 2000 lightyears away, so the light in the final picture traveled 2000 years to reach us. In comparison, light needs just one second to travel from the moon to earth, or 8 minutes to reach us from our own sun.
I watched a few videos on the James Webb telescope. Love space and the Science of it all. And firmly believe there is no such thing as an end to space.
There may have been but beginnings and ends, starts and finish's, something vs nothing are Human short sights by our final definitions which are conceptions. After all... if Mankind knows 3% of everything and makes a decision on not knowing 97% of the un-knowns he will be mathematically incorrect on all. If there is no space to begin with, there is no space for space.
Most likely not. Again this is a poorly defined word. Mankind in the future will expand thought and vocabulary to engulf a better meaning of what real "IS". There is a continuum "time" element that at this point is non ending. For anything to end, time must end. Basic EG. A plant or animal dies. It's atoms decay but the decay still exits. It may float about, be kicked about, travel through a worms belly, stomped on by insects, burned up and transform to a molecule and breathed in and on and on it goes through time. After 3000 years some one paints a picture of it, has a memory, a story a notion or thought. At this point in Science there is a constant and an (end) is only a transition to a transformation.
That 8 minutes is 93 million miles and also known as one astronomical unit or AU.
