Has anyone taken a home antigen covid test here? Is it accepted by the airline and immigration for entry?
Actually, you can use a home antigen test result, provided that the result is certified by the kit provider. I did that.
I think it's going to vary by country. The airline is just the enforcer for the country you are traveling to. The US was allowing a proctored antigen test for entry before they removed the requirement altogether. It's not needed to enter the Philippines unless you aren't vaccinated and in that case you need a PCR test which has to be done by a doctor/lab. At this time (time of this reply) Foreign nationals aged 18 and above, who have received the primary series of COVID-19 vaccination and at least 1 booster shot to enter Philippines OR negative PCR (time sensitive) option. - There is a Youtube Video of a Foreigner coming in from Singapore (about 5 weeks back) and his 2 shots were not enough. As he had no booster shot, he was denied entry and flew same day back to Singapore. He could of gotton in if he had a PCR Test (negative) before he came.
