    War after Rememberence Day....

    Both recommended viewings.

After Rememberence Day I recalled the Black Adder going over the top last episode of the WW1 series. Cast is superb, all going on to great things. USA blokes here might recall https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hugh_Laurie

    Very poignant,

Also by sheer coincidence wifey was watching a film in German with English subtitles, (yes don't ask me,) All Quiet on the Western Front. Had heard it was good as in realistic. She fell asleep well before the end, probably best really. Film is about as real as it can get without being actually there caught up in such inhumane slaughters. Man at his most brutal, unfortunately having to follow orders from above or get executed as traitors.

    Trailer....

History shows that those who are the agressor's in any war, will never ever succeed in winning the hearts of the oppressed.
