Just when i thought i had seen every type of suicidal activity people do on the roads around here somebody came up with a new one. I was driving this afternoon on one of the winding roads above Valencia town when around a blind corner came a person going the other way in the middle of the road on a skateboard. Not a child who might be excused for not knowing the danger but this person was late teens by the look of him.
And if he collides with our car or bike we will be the guilty one for not avoiding him...plus if we hadn't come here to live the accident wouldn't have happened
Back in 2008 a Filipino Family friend whom was epileptic was standing up on the tail gate of a Jeepney on National Highway. As fate (pick that from many words) would have it, he went into seizure, lost footing and hold, and died on impact with road. "There is no such thing as seeing it all in the Philippines"
Which road? It sounds like more fun than skateboarding on a straight road, down in town. Could be there is not as many askal to run into up there too.
