NOTE: me thinks there should be a "Prefix" for Logistics?

Anybody experienced with Umac? My boxes ship is ETA Sept 3 in MNL as per their tracking webpage. I understand that will then get sorted, added to the tracking, and continue in another container to Bacolod, on the other side of Negros. Haven't heard of a "sub-warehouse" in Duma area.

I'm curious about the fastest transit duration from MNL to Valencia door -so we can time our start of readiness in receiving said boxes.

Also avg and max timing MNL > Valencia with Umac in the early fall season? I was told it would take 2-3 months, but if faster I need to have someone around to take them.

    Tks guys.

BTW: their biggest box [not that gigantic] was only 100 CDN Pesos from Western Canada. Custom size box accepted but gets a bit expensive....

No specific experience here with Umac, but I'd say their transit time in the Philippines will reasonably be quite comparable to other Balikbayan Box Forwarders.
That would lead me to expect your boxes to arrive in Valencia from Manila in weeks rather than months. The biggest uncertainty is the customs clearing thingy in Manila, which can cause delays once the Christmas boxes start causing congestion at the Manila port, but once your tracking info confirms that customs have been cleared, I would expect them boxes to be delivered within 2 to 3 weeks.

your issue will be when they get to Manila, that's when the tracking codes will let you down, local couriers then take over and they don't issue so no way of knowing for sure when they will show up......all about holidays and weather in terms of ferries etc etc ...have gotten up to 50 boxes in the last 6-7 years.......don't go stressing yourself and applying western logic

Umac MNL to BCD is normally around 2 weeks then gets sorted at the warehouse in BCD. Delivery around 1 - 2 weeks after that. The Umac rep in BCD can be contacted on +639667666529 / +639673164782. We've been using them for about 10 years - sometimes slow but never a problem. Just make sure they have your Phil's contact no. so they can call you when it's out for delivery - and to get directions if necessary.

We've used UMAC a couple of times since we moved to Florida. Manila to Bayawan was 2.5-3.5 weeks.
