The charger for hearing aids only charges one device. There's an audicien shop run by Santillan on North rd. however they do only fix their own brand, which is not mine. Their suggestion a electronic repair shop might do it. So my question does anybody knows a shop, most preferably from own experience who might fix the problem.
If you can't get a recommendation drop into one of the electronic suppliers in town. They probably know someone with repair skills. Years ago my amplifier broke. Someone found the defective capacitor in about 20 minutes. You never know.
In case you fail to get the charger fixed, there's some refurbished items available on Ebay around 60 US$ including shipping to the Philippines.
Thanks for the feedback. Will try my luck in town first and if not possible will check it out on Ebay.
My wife had an expensive type of steam iron (Tefal) which we brought here from the UK repaired by PROTECH on the left side of the main highway after Robinson's Mall going towards Bacong and located in Magnao Canal - other repairers would not even try. Cost P650 to open up and replace a burnt wire which was connected to the main cable's recoil (not relevant to any other repair but a guide they are not a huge rip-off). PROTECH APPLIANCE SERVICE CENTRE 1010–1014 Lamberto Macias Avenue, Mangnao-canal, Dumaguete City, 6200 Negros Oriental, Philippines. Tel: +63 35 422 2841 Have to say we have not tried it out yet - the ironing gets done annually - but hoping it works! Let you know next December
The suggestion of @Show Pony to drop into one of the electronic supplies worked out pretty well. My first choice Algoritme, a computer shop on the highway North, I always frequent this place to solve a problem with a laptop. So far they fixed all jobs to my full satisfaction. Once they were even able to make a working dashcam again out of 2 broken one. Today went back to inquire and much to my surprise, good news, they also fixed the charger for a more than reasonable and fair price of only 250 peso. A tip of 50 peso I gave, was accepted of course. The name and location of the company @Notmyrealname posted, I will save for any future repairs if necessary.
