Depends on make and model. To avoid regrets always use an authorized branch. I own 4 Sony cameras, 2 are video and I have used Sony service store 3 times. Once they had to ship it to their Manila branch. I submit you pop in or call# and ask them about your camera as I am sure they have re-directed many persons in the right direction.
