Trades & Labor Storage shed

I'm looking for a contractor that can build me a 20'X20' steel storage shed on a concrete SOG. It will be a while before I finish my current project and get back home, but need the shed built soon and don't have workers that can handle things without me being on site.

Any recommendations would be greatly appreciated.

You can try this guy, our member Cabb did on my recommendation, Bernie the owner is Canadian and a person to be trusted. B&A Construction Valencia, other than him it would be near impossible to find anyone you can rely on to do this job in your absence, I would question the dimensions of this shed with a view to its stability in high winds? a support wall in the middle would give the roof a lot more stability a roof span of 6mtrs is asking a lot even for a well made roof truss.

 

I met Bernie only once but it was clear he is highly intelligent (a great asset here) and very thorough - even going to Cebu City to source materials he decides are better than what he can buy locally.

But the catch is that the good ones are often very busy.

 

Is there a contact for B&A Construction? All I could find was a Facebook page and I refuse to have Facebook. I've emailed 2 different companies local and neither has responded back in over a week.

The actual dimensions will be 20'X40'. But if I wanted 20X20, I could design it to be correct as I do build for a living.

My quandary is I would like this built in the next month or so and I will not be back until late April or May due to steel fabrication delays and shipping from the US for my current project in Okinawa.

If he is cool with it, could you PM me his email? I'd prefer to speak with him myself instead of putting too much on the lovely wife before construction begins. I have Teams as well, if that would be a better way of communicating.

I got a message from Bernie. He is booked for all of 2026 and part of 2027. I can message his email and cell if you still want the info.

 

I have knowledge of many Foreigners who had their houses built in their absence and none of them worked out all that well, with you working in the construction industry you would never be happy with anything you did not have full control of.

 

Thanks, but am wanting this built in the next month or so. I did end up hearing back from another company yesterday evening. I should be getting a quote from him later this week after he stops by the farm. I was hoping to be able to get bids from at least 2 different companies, but it is what it is.

Sorry to say this Shawn but if this building is to go ahead in your absence you will regret it, I have never been more sure of anything in my life.
