seriously? no swimming in the lake?

 

We used to hunt kabogs, punay, balod, and other game birds in the surrounding area, and we also fish (mostly tilapia and halu-an) in the lake. And yes, we used to swim but when we saw what looked like the one Rhoody showed in the picture... heheheh

 

When our visit last year we do swimming on the lake, take a look at this photos.

 

Since the drowning of a visitor in Balanan Lake, swimming in the lake has been banned.

 

They tried everything to catch that thing. Some German group even brought sonar but the bottom was just too murky.

 

Hi Wingman! I'm also a hunter and fisherman. 1) when did you go there last? 2) how deep is the lake 3) how far is the lake from dumaguete ( or nearest airport ) ? Thank you.
