so it is Christmas! and i needed to reward myself with something that i have always wanted..a SONY PSP...

However, i have had one of the worst time of my life because of the PSP..

It all started on December 8, 2009 when i bought a SONY PSP 3000 in Robinson...and by the way, the stall where i bought it from doesnt have a banner on its area...its this small small cubicle inside Robinsons dept store where the toys are...u can easily recognize it as it only sells PSP, WII, and nintendo...they are a concessionaire who goes by the business name "AE COMPULINK
    "
happy to have made my purchase, i went to work...in the evening, upon arriving from work, i copied files from my PC to the PSP so i can start playing..to my dismay, the PSP cant read the files in the memory stick..

December 9, 2009...day after i purchased my PSP, i went back to Robinson complaining why the PSP i purchase wont read files on its memory stick...i was informed by the saleslady to perform the chickHEN software (tool for the PSP to run downloaded games) first before being able to download games and play..working at 2 to 10 pm, i said i will try performing the chickHEN as instructed when i arrive home..

December 10, 2009...1 p.m...downloaded PSP games is still not showing in my PSP..so i went to "Evermall" where there is a stall there who specializes on downloading games to PSPs...i was told my PSP wont read the games they have downloaded on my PSP..so i went back to "AE COMPULINK" in Robinson and asked the saleslady to do something about my dillema...she then instructed me to do chickHEN again..i went to work and performed the chickHEN program in my PSP at work...

6:00 pm same day...went out of work and filed for undertime as PSP really wont work...went back to "AE COMPULINK" and asked the person-in-charge (saleslady) to perform the chickHEN for me...chickHEN was now successfully performed..i was informed that my PSP now can read downloaded games...i went back home and copied files my memory stick..memory stick is showing that it really was able to copy games since memory stick space has been used...but then it still wont work on my PSP..
i thought that it must not be compatible...so i went back again to "AE COMPULINK"..

8:00 PM--The saleslady working for "AE COMPULINK" told me to try to go "Gamers world", a stall in Robinson where they also sell PSPs and ask someone to let me insert a working memory card to the PSP that I bought and see if the games will work in my PSP..we did that, still PSP wont work...but borrowed memory stick that was inserted in my PSP still wont read games...

8:45..mall is about to close..i demanded that my PSP be changed..i was told they have to contact a supervisor in Manila...and that i should come back on Saturday (12-12-09)..but still, theres no concrete solution given...

December 11, 2009...went to DTI to file a formal complain...Supervisor from Manila sent me a text message..this was the exact message i received "Gud am. Regarding po sa binili nyo PSP. kaya po di read yung download games ninyo kase po na erase yung format ng loader na naka-install sa memory stick..palitan na lang natin yung memory stick..but next please, before po kayo magpadownload ng games sa labas, make sure po na d nila buburahin yung loader..thanks"

I was shocked by the message i recieved..how was she able to know that i deleted the format needed to download when i have not faced her nor talk to her in person as she is in manila?..she must have a third eye to do that..hahaha...seriously, i never deleted anything on the memory stick thaat goes with my PSP...my conclusion is that the PSP that was sold to me was defective..and "AE COMPULINK" wont change my PSP, only the memory stick that goes with it..they havent thought that i need a PSP that works and not a memory stick..

if the previous day, i wanted my item changed..now, i want a refund...its such a hassle to be going back and forth "AE COMPULINK" in Robinson and then no solution is given...i have lost much time at work because of this..

DTI has yet to make the investigation on Monday...and i want a refund for my PSP...its funny that "AE COMPULINK" doesnt even have a computer to do the test before releasing items to the customer...

it has been such a waste of time and energy coming back and forth..do u think i stand a chance on getting a refund since i was able to prove that item is defective?

Also, i tried searching "AE COMPULINK" on the internet and nothing came up...just a thought..

Too bad the supervisor sounds sh*t, my sympathy to you MR., time is wasted,,,but thats life we need to teach them a lesson, just prapare your sermons if DTI permits you too. My suggestion upon complaining test the unit before acceptance of the item.

@richard08...im a MS who just loves to play boys stuff:smile:

Anyway, what is funny is they do not have a computer in their stall where they can try to download games to the memory stick of the PSP to see if it will read downloaded games..i only bought from them because i was led to think that they are a good company since they are inside the department store itself...so there is no way that they can prove for themselves that the item is defective.. so now, to avoid the same problem, i would want to be refunded and will purchase on another store where there is good after support given...

and i would not rant on the poor saleslady..afterall, she has nothing to do with it..she has been so nice....only the supervisor is a b******t...

hehehe my bad, sorry now I know your a no man :D

To some it up neither the poor saleslady nor the visor,,,they should know what they are saying to their costumers,,,when they say it works fine it must work in real.,,,Another suggestion if you really love psp,,why not use your computer, buy attached psp or xbox 360 controller to your computer to play games,,You'll save thousamd of pesos, and as a matter of facts graphics eye candy sucks in psp,,,,no contest compared to PC gaming mode, very crisspy look.:D

    @richard08..

thats a nice suggestion...but i like to bring with me my PSP when travelling...
the visor doesnt know what she was saying..the saleslady, however, knows what she is doing...its just that its beyond her power to change/refund items since it has to have the approval of a supervisor who is in Manila full time....way to do business huh..leave everything to a poor salesgirl.,.nice! clap! clap! clap

@kewl:smile: that is according to what i also know...however, the saleslady informed me that it can..thats basically the reason why i bought..anyways, i got a refund today..they must have been afraid that they will have a problem with DTI...

Anyways for you to make sure that you can play thu your memory you need to buy the older one. I am 100% sure about that. Just buy ps3. Very good and it is even in blue ray. But the games are a bit pricey but 100% satisfaction
