Miss having turkey or sick of the huge Hypermart price for frozen butterballs, when and if they get any?

    Raise your own.

I have two breeding pairs of turkeys. One pair is for sale, take your pick! They are about a year old so they have a long life ahead. For us they deliver three cluches of eggs per year with 8-12 chicks per clutch. One breeding pair should let you enjoy turkey twice a month.

I'm a city boy and maybe I'm doing something wrong but these seem to top out at about 8 lb dressed weight. They are great roasted on a spit.... "lachon turkey".

I paid P2000 for my first pair but I think that was a "kano price". Asking P1200.

NOTE: Delivery may be delayed until the current clutch of eggs hatches!

    John,

If your breeding pair is sold, could you let me know if you have some poults for sale or where I could get some. Just looking at 5 or so to start.

    Thanks!

You may want to try the Silliman Farm or the Scheide Farm in Bantayan.

(I did sexually manipulate a turkey by masturbation during our animal science class for breeding techniques.)

    Thanks Josephen,

A quick google search showed Silliman farm to be an agriculture college; I'll have to check to see if they will sell poults.

I would have replied sooner, but it has taken all day to get the image of manual turkey stimulation out of my head, sh*t its back...

    Josephen,

Hope that wasn't meant towards me; it was a joke, image of someone jerking off a turkey...

    Thanks again for the info!
