The only place to buy imported guitars in Dumaguete is JVS. But if you want a good local guitar maker that makes really good acoustic/electrics I'd have to ask a cousin of mine because he knows someone in cebu that makes top quality stuff and sells them at a price very competitive with lower quality imports. Were talking Martin quality for cheap :D

Solido, Don't need any points. But after you cross the bridge from Cebu to Mactan, turn left and watch both sides of the road for about 2-3 km. You'll see many guitar factories on both sides of the road, some great, some average, some... well... ymmv. Just wonder around and try them out.
