Can anyone comment on owning a Kia Picanto? I am thinking about buying a small car my small wife can handle. I have seen them and know the specs, etc, wondering about good-bad-ugly? I realize you get what you pay for. Thanks

It all depends what you expect from a car, everyone has different priority 's
Kia is not cheap and has always been consuming more gas than a comparable car.
Look also for Toyota Vios, price starts at 600,000 pesos (New in Cebu or Bacolod)

Jack, Firefly, thanks for the info. I would think the Hyundai is rated higher than a Kia! The only reason I was looking at a Kia for her is that I heard about a guy looking to prevent a repossession on one he bought, paid p200K down, and made a couple of payments and is looking for someone to just take it over without any cash to him. Still, we will have a look at Hyundai first. The key is for Crislyn to be able to reach the gas pedal-brakes and still see out the windshield. She says she is 5' tall but she is really 4'10". Cheers

He he. My wife is the same....

We were able to find a setup of pedal extensions here in the states when she first learned to drive. The car we have now is able to adjust to her nicely. We will have to wait and see how well she fits the Jeep we bought.

    Good luck with your quest.

    Kia Picanto

Pat, we just bought a new one a couple of weeks ago only got 800K on it now. It fits Maria just fine. I'm 6' and it fits me just fine also. Maria says she just loves it, it's easy to park and can squeeze between just about anything. We carried home three 10 foot sticks of 3/4" PVC conduit yesterday with no problems. If you two would like I'm sure she would love to show you two her new car.

Thanks for the input and offer Jim. My honey decided on a small Hyundai i10 instead of the Kia, guess she feels more comfortable in it.
