Title basically says it. How easy and what methods are there to get from duma to cebu city and vice versa? Estimated cost along with time with whatever mode of transportation be bus or ferry. Planning on comming in January with my wife to find a place to stay. Tired of Cagayan de Oro city land of trash and filth. Thanks.
Driving your own vehicle will take 4 /12 to 6 hours, depending. Ceres bus a bit faster because they drive like bats out of hell. Bus cost about P170 one way on Ceres bus line. Do'nt know about flying. Should be able to find that info online.
Cebu to Dumaguete by Air 599 peso on a Go Lite flight or 100p more, for extra luggage with Cebu Pacific
A lot of good information in this thread; http://www.dumagueteinfo.com/board/...bu-dumaguete-ceres-liner-bus-schedule-48.html Larry
Hi, to everyone! Coming to Dumaguete in April. Has anyone taken Cebu Pacific Air from Cebu? The cost is reasonable, but how is the plane and flight? Thanks, BigJim
... and in nice conditions it is a beautiful 23 minute flight along the coastline of Cebu, not that high and just after sunrise. If you take it make sure you sit on the right side at the window. The price is very reasonable as long you don't have excess luggage. Cebu Pathetic charges 120php/kg
Flying To Dumaguete Thanks for the information about Cebu Pacific Air. I booked flight with them. Will be there in April. BigJim
methods for duma to cebu travel Several ferries every day; some are direct some stop [and so are not so "fast" as one might think]. Bus trips by the two ferries at Sibulan require two buses. I have not found them any quicker than one bus trips; but I have gone that way only twice. Bus trips by Bato require only one bus. Airplanes go between Sibulan and Mactan. Perhaps an hour in a taxi on Cebu and perhaps a third of an hour in a taxi, jeepney, or tricycle on Negros.
