How many hours does it take to get to dumaguete from cebu south terminal?

Also, where is the Cebu South Terminal located? Thanks.

4-5 hours if going via Lilo-an/Sibulan, 5-6 hours if going via Tampi/Bato. South bus terminal is on south road near E-mall.

Hi Larry thanks for the reply and I know where e-mall is.

So, if we take the bus from the South terminal, does that mean that we choose to ride buses that go to dumaguete through 2 routes, e.g., via Liloan and via Tampi/Bato? I'm not quite familiar with Tampi/bato but I know where Liloan is.

There is a sign in front of the bus with the destination.
If the bus goes to Dumaguete the sign will be Dumaguete or Bayawan (in Negros)
If you take the bus to Liloan (for ferry Liloan/Sibulan) you better ask for the ferry to Sibulan.Mostly the sign says Liloan but sometimes it is Bato.
Going to Dumaguete, the bus goes on the ferry but you will pay for the ferry an extra 70 pesos.

    Good day!

idunno if this thread's still alive. but i would like to ask if the liloan, santander route and the fastcraft there are still on up to this day. this weekend i'll be leaving for dumaguete from cebu to meet my aunt. this is my first time to travel from cebu to dumaguete and i was hoping i'd spend less time on the road. and might i ask what's the best place preferably a breach resort to stay. one that's just around the city or at least near and accessible 'coz i might be there just for an overnight and would like to stay at a good place. if possible not too expensive. thanks for those kind hearts that will reply.
