    Addresses!

Hi Robert, I deal with DHL daily, in the main there service is good, Their way Bill tracking system is unique to the last major depot. The main problem here in Dgte, is a correct address, there never seems to be a proper address that can be identified, a lot of people do not put a contact Phone Number on the Paperwork, this to me is a must, the driver can then ring if he has problems. As my address in Dgte is only a broad address no one can ever find it, if they do not know the area. The post only gets to us as the delivery man knows the family, if he is off sick or leave, WOW! no post. Now I have all my Documents and things delivered to Azons office. A well known company, A proper address that can be found. I feel that sometimes the senders of items just do not put enough information on the paperwork, then of course, are the receivers giving enough information. it is easy to blame the company sending, the courier, the delivery man. these people are only as good as the information we give to them.

Just my 5c worth but needs thinking about,

There is a fedex branch in Dumaguete City. Air21 is the fedex tie up here. They are located at the highway/north road near Jollibee. It is just a few shops away from the BPI there. It is called Mail and More

For what its worth, Ive used them quite a few times, both incoming and outgoing.

Another option, if your stuff is coming from the states (not sure if they service other countries as well), is to check out Angeles Mail Services. Ive used them for several years now, and like them. I think the minimum monthly fee is like P250, so they are reasonably priced also.
The way it works is that you get an address in California that you can give out. Your mail goes there, is aggregated with others and ships via Fedex to Angeles. The people in Angeles then will ship it directly to you (or you can pick it up in Angeles depending on your marital status :-))

Google on Angeles Mail Services if interested.
