We bought it in Manila on Nov. 2009. It worked for 10 hours only (believe it or not, I cannot prove it..) as we moved here soon after.

Hi akis51, we're interested in this, sounds like the size we need. my wife'll be in town at the end of this week. But pls tell me what's meant by "split type" --does that mean the fan is separate, sits outside the window, connected by a hose...? What brand & model-# is it?

 

Correct, the outdoor unit can be installed anywhere and the indoor to any wall. Brand is IDEC, www.idec-aircon.com, model : wall mounted, 1hp. You are welcome any time, thank you.
