Where can I get the best dollar exchange rate in Dumaguete?

    Can anyone tell me where I can get a good exchange rate for dollars in Dumaguete, much appreciated.

    So Far the best exchange rate i got is in Optimum Traders near Rural Bank of Sta. Catalina and also the Money Changer in robinsons

    second both for best rate. Robinsons money changer is less falling in line, though.

    Also the lobby of check in hotel. And it's more private.

    I have used the Xchange at Robinson's exclusively, as I haven't found any better rates. If anyone knows of one that has better rates, please post (and if you have their #, I prefer to call ahead), as I haven't been real thrilled with the low rates that are everywhere at the moment. Thanks!!

    For my experience the moneychanger in Lee Plaza (downtown) gives a better rate now.
    The moneychanger is between supermarket and hardware in the basement

    We normally use Optimum or the one in Robinson's, but last week Forex (Near Lee Plaza) beat them both by over a half a piso.

    Has anyone noticed that the moneychanger at Rob Perdices has been giving a higher dollar rate than at the mall? Today P45.30 while Lee Plaza P45.15.
