Dear Friends, With great sadness, one of our great friends and long-time DI members, John Kreemers (Jellyfish), passed away last night at Silliman Hospital from internal injuries suffered in a motorcycle accident. We pray for John to rest in peace and for Annalee as well. The viewing is at St. Peters on the hiway in Bacong, will post funeral arrangements once they are confirmed. Thanks to those of you who went to the hospital last night to offer your love and support and for those who could donate blood. May God bless John and his family.
We are so sad to hear this news, John was a good friend and he will be missed us and all that knew him. We pray for Annalee and his family.
Very sad news indeed... John was a champion of a guy, always friendly and helpful to everybody. I hoisted many cold brews with him over the years and we had many great conversations. John - rest in peace you will surely be missed!
It seems shocking to me that there is no Blood Bank in a city the size of Dumaguete. The delays caused by having to find blood donors during an emergency certainly lead to senseless fatalities. John was such a nice guy, always there to help physically or with advice. It's hard to accept that he is gone.
John's internment will be Nov. 14. Viewing at St. Peters Bacong today through Wednesday. God be with you John.
It is a sad day when a long time friend passes away. He will be remembered by a large expat community of Dumaguete and surrounding towns, as well as by friends and visitors of the Netherlands and his dive buddies.
Very sad news. Although I have never met Jellyfish I always enjoyed his postings / comments on this forum and was looking forward meeting him when my wife and I join the expat community in Duma. Rest in peace and sincerest condolances to his family and friends. Vicmico
Very sad news indeed, I knew John very well and looking foreword to seeing him again in my next trip to Dumaguete. I've just booted up my PC and clicked on to this forum and heard this tragic news, still can't believe this has happen to him. He was the most helpful and sociable man any one could meet. My sincere condolence to his family My prays go to you John. R.I.P
John was always very helpful and kind, never belittling when someone asked a question. He will be greatly missed here as well as by his family I'm sure. My thoughts and prayers go out to his family.
Although we met just once, it is with great sadness to hear of the passing of Jellyfish. My deepest sympathy to Annalee and John's family. Goodbye, God Bless John-RIP
