Hello "Gentle People" of Dumaguete City! As stated in the title above, I am new to the forums as well as to the city. I got here by plane on the 19th of October. So far, I'm enjoying my stay here. The first thing I noticed though is that motorcycles are much more prevalent here compared to the major cities of the major islands (I've lived at each of them for awhile). Even the pedicabs are driven using motorcycles (I haven't seen one driven with a bicycle yet). Also, there's no need for helmets so it's quite surprising for me. The one thing I really love though is that I think it wouldn't be easy to get lost here. Just find a pedicab and you're good to go. I hope I'll enjoy staying here for the next little while! :o
