Since tomorrow is technically Thanksgiving Day in the states, I am on the prowl for some cranberry sauce. No joy in Hypermart. Anyone out there know how to get my hands on some cranberry sauce? Goes well with the turkey :-)
Have you tried any other supermarket in the province or even Times Mercantile? If they don't have any, maybe next year, think about buying it a 'tadge' earlier. There are loads of your fellow countrymen/women here, that obviously realized this isn't exactly Cebu or Manila for 'foreign' supplies and so planned ahead. I know of a few on this forum who are American, why not ask them if they have extra?
cranberry sauce I used to have no problem getting it in Manila, but no such luck here. I DID find some cranberry relish a couple of days ago at Cang's, I believe....tiny, tiny jar for around 360 php. No way was I going to pay that amount for such a teeny amount. I will make sure to get some on stock for next year.
I guess I had hoped since there were so many Americans here, it might be available. Oh well, next year Ill get some from Manila - thanks @permres
