Only been here about 5 weeks, but it has been raining a lot the last week and I was wondering if Dumaguete has a "rainy season"?

I have lived other places, Olongapo/Subic and Angeles, and there were "rainy seasons" there.

Yes, the rainy season is over. This is the dry season. The rain is much drier now than it was a couple of months ago. You couldn't tell?

6 months of a rainy season and 6 months of a dry season.

I read in the newspaper this rain is coming from an expected "cold front".
