Apo Island earliest bus/jeep going to Malatapay and earliest boat schedule to Apo island

Hi,
Would like to ask if buses/jeeps going to Malatapay (from Dumaguete) are available as early as 5am and if boats going to Apo are already available as early as 6am?

Also, that early, where can I catch that bus/jeep going to Malatapay if I am staying at Hotel Nicanor?

The bus would be the one labeled Bayawan, from the Ceres bus terminal. Just tell the tricycle driver, he'll know where the terminal is.

Yes, there are buses going to Bayawan as early as 5 am. Let the security guard of Hotel Nicanor help you get a pedicab. Just tell the driver to bring you to the Ceres terminal, look for the Ceres bus that says "Bayawan" and be sure to inform the bus conductor or driver where you want to get off. You don't want to reach as far as Bayawan, so inform the driver as soon as you board the bus. Anyway, there are many friendly passengers who can also help you.

^Malatapay is the gateway to Apo island. i don't know if there are any lodgings available. when we came from the city, we pass by Bahura Resort. i already forgot how many minutes away it is from the Malatapay.
