Well, maybe not that great, but I enjoyed it. But I'm a big Pirate Bay user/fan.

I'll admit that I download a lot of stuff from software, games, movies. However I tend to prefer if the movie or game is good to buy a retail original copy. My issue is that why dish out $40-50 for a new game that is utter crap as most games these days are. If I don't like it their are no refunds, no returns, no rebates, no exchanges. If the movie is crap, same thing. Extra catch here in Dumaguete though is where the hell to buy original movie DVDs? The few at Lee Plaza are generally crap, old, and very very tiny selection. Also why does a new DVD movie cost $20 in the US but here in the Philippines (not in Dumaguete) the same can be bought for $10 (400-500p) Then why is it I HAVE to upgrade from my beloved Win 98 to XP to Win7? Win98 is great and the main holdback is it couldn't use more then 768 megs of ram, easy enough fix vs a new operating system. Yet they force an upgrade by purposefully limiting software and then stop supporting for new stuff. Then ontop they say you need to disk out $150.... but the crap version. Go into Music why buy an entire music CD when half the time you are after one song? That is what made i-tunes great the ability to get just that 1 song cheap.

Sorry to say but crappy products don't deserve my :greedy:, overpriced products don't deserve my :greedy:.

Personally I'd tell Hollywood to put their movies online for download at say $3-4 each and allow you to watch more then a 1 minute trailer that often shows the only 1 decent minute of film in the movie.

In the end though if you want to stop piracy and theft you also have to be willing to tackle the big 2 countries that support it.... China and India. How do movies get out pirated before they are even released on DVD but in DVD copy? Factories that leak it, a country that supports hurting western innovation. a country and itself and its government steal from other countries. Going after just the internet only helps slow down stuff in the US. There are other ways such as FTP (old school) and always selling pirated copies on the corner.
