    Hi guys,

We'll be visiting Siquijor this March. Just want to ask how much are the transportation fares when going to the Poblacion, Siquijor, San Juan as well as Larena? Start-off point is at port where ferries dock from Dumaguete. I'm specifically asking for tricycle or single motorcycle fares. It would be better if there is a multicab around the area. I don't want to talk to overcharging drivers, so I would like to know what the standard fares are.

    Thanks a lot!

There is a cafe at the end of the pier where you can rent a motorcycle for around p350 day or p500 day if you want yamaha 125, when I was there last they wanted licence and address!
Multicab and tricycle were expensive there,so renting was the cheapest,no fuel stations there so just get your fuel in 1ltr coke bottles!
    Good luck

Avis, Hertz you will not find on Siquijor but some beach resorts offer the possibility of renting. Check their websites and just ask.

Even when you know "standard fares" but the driver is still asking more it will not help you after all. As every where in The PH @ the pier, airport or bus terminal overcharging is common not only for the tourist but also for the filipino/a from another island etc. Just use your negotiating skills combined with the distance from starting point to arrival, it did always works with me. When really ridiculous prices just ignore, finally you will find a driver who does not consider each visitor of his island as a multi-multi millionaire.
