Government & Education Any info about Siliman University. General info and Writing courses

I'm from Bacolod but I've lived away from the Philippines for almost 9 years.

I am returning this year. As much as I love Bacolod I can't stay there too long because I get too comfortable and lazy! I am looking into Duma. It's still on the same island as my hometown but far enough to keep it interesting.

Does anyone know info about Siliman?

1) What are most of the students like? Are they into partying or mostly nature lovers? I love nature, I can skip the partying

2) Any tips on enrolling in Siliman Masters program? What are the known best courses related to English or Writing/Journalism?

3) Where is the best area to rent a place if I were to study in Siliman? I work from home and all I need is an Internet connection.
