I am heading back to the U.S. the end of Feb. for My oldest son's wedding. I am planning on a one way purchase back home to the Phils. I was granted a permanent resident ACR. Do I need a ticket leaving the Phils to be granted re-entry? Thanks

No, as a PR you do not need an onward ticket. Best to verify that with your airline, as some airlines apply their own rules.

My family and I (4) are coming there on one way tickets in March.
And after a bit of research, its a bit hit and miss whether you get through.
So did a search on cheap fares and came up with AirAsia.
Clark to Kota Kinabalu was $13 per ticket (total $52 for 4).
    That was in July.
So bought them as insurance, figured not worth the stress for $52.
