Can anyone report on the conditions in Tanjay City.. namely if the roads are passable and if electricity has been restored? Thank you.
To have an idea about the damage in Negros Oriental, use google, write Earthquake Negros Oriental and click on pictures.
No problem in Tanjay. Roads and bridges, no damage. Electricity was restored an hour after the earthquaqe
Now that most households and returning normal, I will pose a question. How many of you that normally sleep in the nude wore clothes last night? Not me but my wife did. Ron
Nice thought but nothing serious of that sort. Reported 12 dead and some minor injuries last I heard from a landslide off someplace and such. Don't think anyplace is going to set up a relief thing or even identity those very few effected. Its past and I can't find any news about any actual tsunami either. *correction* Just saw the above articles, oddly I missed it somehow.
My wife said the local radio station is forecasting an even larger quake to hit around 8pm tonight. Can anyone confirm or provide additional info? Thanks
Earthquake prediction is still a thing for loons and physics. Science has not yet been able to predict earthquakes down to day or even month let alone hourly. If there is a prediction its likely from some local nutcase. So maybe some local radio station might have said something to boost ratings but its not based on any science at least.
Sure enough, to be immediately followed by a 40 foot tsunami! Now, when will Rony get the 7 text messages warning us about it? Larry
