    Good morning ~

Can anyone recommend movers to assist with my upcoming relocation? The big items are a four-piece living room set, two (medium-sized) TVs, a ref, desktop computer and table, and small outdoor table and chairs (plastic). No beds/mattresses. The rest would be just boxes of kitchen items, a few suitcases of clothes and three or four electric fans.

Not a huge move (staying in Dumaguete), but big enough to require trustworthy assistance and a truck.

Recommendations -- based on personal experience, please -- is more than welcome, and I thank you in advance for your help.

I've never had luck in the Philippines hiring "movers". But, I've packed all my own things and provided pads, ropes etc and then hired EZ ride with a couple guys to just haul the items. They havent' a clue about moving typically but provided the back power and the truck. Don't expect alot of care, wrap your things to protect them.

Best of luck in your move

Thanks for your reply. I was trying to avoid that, but at this late stage, I think it's my best bet. I am actually a very good packer - extremely thorough with padding, bubble wrap, newspaper, etc., so I'm not worried so much about that. I just need to get my butt in gear and start gathering boxes. Can these be purchased anywhere? I remember in the U.S. we bought moving boxes at Staples and the like.
