I have a little update...my Fiancee had her interview for her K-1 visa today and everything went great. She should have her passport in two weeks then I will be coming to get her.

Great, congrats! The battle is almost over..., for a few months anyway. Congrats also to Exhippie's girl for a successful interview.

CBINDENVER: Consider yourself lucky! My Wife's Fiancee visa took 23 months! Manila said her file was in California at the INS service center and the service center said it was in Manila. After many phone calls and faxes to Calif and Manila I finally contacted my Congressman, who found out what was going on in 7 days what I was trying to do in 7 months. A typical call to the service center went like this: After calling for an hour finally get thru. Go thru all the options until you get to K-1 visa section. Listen to the music on hold for 45 minutes..only to have someone pick up the phone and hang it back up!

Good luck on your marriage and future together...

So after the interview she was told she had to go to the Fiancee seminar..she got the last open slot the next day and we flew out the following night. She only had a one-way ticket to the States...
