does anybody know if There is a place that sells hot water solar collectors with tanks? I know the water is already hot during the day but I sure love to shower before I go to bed at night. thx for any info
True, the last time I was in there they had some on display. Citi Hardware is just around the corner from Robinson's Mall going towards the Ceres terminal.
Here is something you can try. Go get some 1" black plastic water tubing, run a water source into it and loop it on your roof or other southwest facing structure. 15 loops will give you about ~35 gallons (approx 230 lbs), 20 loops for ~49 gal (approx 400 lbs) for that evening shower. I use the east side for morning hot water and the west side of my roof for evening needs. Beware, on sunny days it will get dangerously hot.
