A Pun Pat, I took your comment as you making a play on words...a pun. I wrote my reply as if you could actually smell the thread through your computer. I though you must have an amazing computer because I smelled my computer and could smell nothing. Even Imp, the cat smelled the computer and just kept chasing lizards around the house. I would say the thread did not have a lot of factual information going on. I am not sure what smell was originally referred to. I live on Banilad road and the smell varys every day, from fresh flowers to the cow manure on the road. The only smell that really bothers me in town is the public locations that people p*ss every hour, like the bus terminal and few other walls in town. I do think that is disgusting but then we have a municipality that does not believe in free public toilets, even the bus station, as is typical charges. I notice a young boy, 5 - 8 yo, in town just peeing in the street so it will take a few generations (if ever) to change the cultural practice of urinating anywhere anytime. I guess that is a good reason not walk around barefooted.
Well, i think i experienced THAT smell too (i am not talking about the smegma or other "stinky" stuffs included in this thread). It is also usually very smelly in the evening! I think it's just the garbage truck and the effluent it leaves behind when it roams the city. Man, that really stinks so bad! (lucky me i don't wake up THAT early in mornings! haha) you may try that "solution". :D
