Depends on WHERE in Valencia. In the proper and thereabouts the weather is usually very similar to downtown Duma, except a few degrees cooler and a little less humid. Generally, as now, there is a slight breeze. The farther up you go from there, the damper and cooler it gets.

Definitely it wont reach 30'C during the hot day and drop to 23'C - 26 'C at night thats for Valencia Poblacion as of March 01- 19, 2012 Summer reading inside the house and it would be colder outside for sure.

    thanks guys...
the reason i asked about the weather is i'm considering renting a house near timbao (1200ft elev) but it's been cloudy and cool, sometimes misty, every time i've been up there and i see green stuff growing on bare soil and concrete in the shade and the closed cabinets in the house smell musty. i've lived at various elevations in the tropics from sea level to 1000meters at this latitude but timbao feels different to me for it's elevation, feels like a cloud forest.

i asked about the wind cuz cool and damp is one thing but cool and damp with a breeze can be uncomfortable. guess i could get used to wearing long pants and a shirt but...

As far as Timbao weather relates to the Philippines, the term "gloomy" comes to mind.

That black slime that grows in the shady wet spots is slick as ice, be careful walking across it.

I've been living in Valencia for the past 2 yrs in Lunga- about 1,300 ft. elevation

During that time, there have been only two months (March and April of 2010) when it was uncomfortably hot. We don't have aircon, and really don't need it. All in all, it's a pretty nice climate. When I decided to move permanently to the PI, my biggest concern was the heat. By living in Valencia, I've totally avoided the issue. We've not had a problem with mustiness inside the house as long as each room gets ventilation from the outside.
