Lol I was going to mention that but decided to leave it out. Let's hope the barangay officials are spread out evenly down that road.
After everyone lined their pockets with the government ₱₱ all they had enough money to do was the 100 meters of the 10km road.
You may take note that they started at the city limit, and did that particular portion in ONE DAY without shutting off traffic! They have prepared the next 100 meters or so, so we wait and see... Larry
Also check out the three 8 inch circular holes drilled on the city limit side, presumably test drills, unless they patch them up soon it's not going to last! Another nice stretch in San Miguel but a bit longer just outside ducomi coconut plant, also a friend of mine came off his new bike when one side was done and there was a ridge, apparently there were 14 motorcycle accidents that night due to this,it was carnage down there after it rained and dark!
I know who you are talking about. I bet no one caught any hell for not putting up any signs either.......lol wait......would we expect anything different? At least it doesn't freeze, could you imagine the road conditions here if it did? Ha
I really hope they finish it up, the road is my biggest complaint about living in Valencia (minus still not having water from that storm). The extra wear and tear can really add up in vehicle repairs, time spent tightening bolts and decompressing my spine. One day is really impressive though. I was in Bacolod for 3 days and was astonished a 100 meters section was resurfaced in that amount of time. What are the chances of Dumaguete dishing out the cash to fix their stretch of the road?
Can you imagine if it did freeze and what would happen? If this happened in the western world all hell would break loose, and would cost them a packet! I just feel sorry for the people who it happened too as they will have to pay for their own repairs and hospital treatment. Nobody cares here and life is cheap
