As I sit hearing listening to my GF do Karaoke, I cannot help to think there has got to be someplace to get voice lessons. Does anyone have experience in this area, maybe getting someone to give group lessons and give the ladies in my neighborhood something positive to focus on and bond over.
    I don't need them...I just play on the computer.....:D

There are two groups near my place up in the mountains (Well nearly a kilometer away) Who usually start practicing at 5:30 or 6 in the morning until around 10 or 11 at night and they haven't improved one iota in the last 2 years, although i have noticed their singing lessons are not as long as they used to be since they started getting the power bills after receiving Karaoke machines for Christmas presents.. If you have a local for a neighbor why don't you buy one for him and his family and you can be lulled to sleep by renditions of Frank Sinatra, Andy Williams, Madona etc etc.. all at about 150 decibels. Joke only..

It would be horrible revenge on a fellow foreigner that did you wrong to have someone deliver a free karaoke machine to his closest Pinoy neighbor.

I don't think many of you fellow DI members would like to be my neighbor tonight, My wife is having a birthday party for a close friend. The karaoke arrived this morning and has been blasting all day and who knows how late tonight.

We have had some really good singers and some that's hard to explain!!! OOO well it's been a lot of fun for all.:D:cool:

Unfortunately, its either you have "it" or you dont. I think karaoke is 50% getting the crowd into it, and 50% being in tune....Yes, even folks with a bad voice can sing too as long as they have showmanship and doesnt get out of tune. I used be a DJ at a Chicago local bar about 10 years ago. And there were some hidden gems.
