Most Dangerous Drivers Here

hahahaha.. The comments here are so ridiculous. Made me laugh hard. You guys are goofy and funny.
I know, very true. Although i am not really acquainted to road stuffs, until an american friend taught me road signs and stuffs, i realized how crazy drivers here are! Yes, drivers LOCALS and FOREIGNS ALIKE! Very Insane!
And yes, agree, the VANS and any four-wheel cars are the most f*cked-up drivers you will encounter in the road. My American friend would sometimes give the finger (at least he says so) hahaha.
I'm not a driver (doesn't even know how to) so i could only laugh BUT when i ride motorcycles, gosh, i feel like dying. (because of trauma, yep, i have been into three motorcylce accidents, and i am still alive! lol One of the accidents i had was even televised nationally before, it was aired by several networks. hahaa. The van accident at NAIA.. hahaha.. yep, i was one of the people who got run over.. hahaha.. lol

Anyway, it still is crazy in the road. No matter where you go! (Cebu, Manila, my hometown.. and even Washington! lol)

Have you seen tourists getting so overly-scared just trying to walk across the road? hahahaha.
Whenever i see whites trying to get across, i would usually stop and look at them on how they would pass. haha. I dunno, they just look so funny and paranoid about getting hit. (i am also paranoid myself btw when crossing roads..lol)
But there was this one time where an averagely mature woman came to a point where she shouted (out of fear!) even the trike was just like 4-5 cars away and the trike was just driving so slow.. hahahah.. that was really funny i thought.. but it feels pitiful for the country btw.. only shows how much underdeveloped still the system is.. well.. tsk. :|

 

yes i gota agree about the 90 degree turns, and as more push there way in on the turns they cut further down the road so they cant miss out and wait maybe 2 minutes.

I think you are one of the f--- wit motor cyclists that the others are talking about, if you have had 3 crashes already God help you, sounds like you are maybe at the ripe old age of maybe 20, Maybe you are one of those annoying motor cyclists that when the driver of a suv or whatever is up front of the traffic lights or intersection you on your noisy little fking scooter jumps in front, sitting there picking your nose or scratching your nuts, taking no notice of what’s happening and then when the lights changes or the traffic moves you almost gets run over??? Is that you???

Jopliniac, is it possible for You to make a comment without offending with another racial slur?...I have yet to read a post where Filipinos are not treated with respect with regards to their nationality and heritage.Perhaps another forum would be more suited to your slanted view....just saying

 

The problem is mostly the driver who drive without knowledge about the signs and regulations in the street are the one who just wanted to earn small money and dont care about everything whats going on in the street.. As one of my experience, those kind of people, you cant teach them or even talk to them because they think they can do whatever they want! Nothing will change here. In the end the driver itself is the one who knows how to drive really is the one who should look around left and right because sometimes even its not ur fault when accident happens it will be yours because the other have no idea!
Based on my observation its mostly problem with motobikes, tricycle, multicab and jeepney..Big trucks and Ceres are not..

 

I have studied the traffic here in Phil, very carefully, systematically, and with great Scientific reasoning, logic, and total understanding of the road laws here, and, with my vast experience in Legal Matters and Road Traffic Law, I have deduced there is actually ONE rule - and that one rule is the GIVE WAY RULE - it works like this -

"whoever chickens out first, gives way."
