Thanks for the info, swampstar. I would have never known that vit A could heal skin disease that quick. I'll keep that in mind b/c doxies like my babies are, according to their breed, prone to skin and back bone diseases. But right now, thankfully, they're coat are as shiny and smooth as they could ever be. We plan to rent and eventually own a one storey house in Duma to avoid back bone injuries. Also, thanks for the approximate cost in shipping your pet. I wonder if airlines do charge according to breed? My babies are mini dachshunds and weigh 12 and 13 lbs. Thanks a lot to your response.

Obviously There must have been changes { for the worse it would seem } Consulates, Papers for internal travel, Govt departments for forms & admin, 3 months to process , took me the return of an Email Couldn't have been easier then.
Sounds like to much unnecessary bureaucracyy has surfaced since I did it.

Hmmmm hoping there won't be anymore added paperwork when it's time for us to move. May I know when the last time you move with your pet? Thanks.

    Kennel use

I purchased my kennels a couple of months early, took the kennels to the airlines so I was sure they were approved. I then let the cats sleep in them, sometimes locking them in over night. If you do not have to kennel them, they have not been hurt by the experience.

I also fed them in the kennels at times. I still have the kennels by my exit door of the house. I used them for emergency evacuations, like the earthquake last January, to insure the cats do not panic and run away outside. The cats can sometimes be found hiding or sleep in the kennels. They have no problem with them, but I had totally acclimated them to the kennels before the 15 hour plane trip.

    Dave & Imp,

Our babies sleep with us so it's kind of hard to separate and crate them. Gosh I think i'm having mommy separation anxiety already. However, will definitely do crate them separately when time to move gets closer for them to get used to being locked up in. I know it's going to be for their own good and for our peace of mind. Thanks for the tip.

    Try these links.

I think these will be helpful. When we made the move two years ago we went through the same thing.
