I watched the fight intently and I thought Bradley was clearly the winner based on the way boxing is scored. His "rumored" drinking, smoking, whoring may have been a reason he couldn't close out the last couple of rounds and was slow at the start with Bradley taking perhaps the first three rounds. I didn't think his body looked as fit as in past fights. Still, he nearly won and will get a rematch. The fight was worth the money to watch.
When I was working and (allegedly) drinking and whoring around, I had a hard time putting in a full day's work too.
As a somewhat experienced in the "Art of hand and foot fighting" known to most as Taekwondo, from what I saw of the fight which really wasn't much, not my thing to just watch. I prefer doing it as to just being a spectator. Anyhow, in my humble old opinion Manny was clearly getting his labutt kicked staged or not. Personally I fully expected Manny to lose for a number of reasons. He is out of shape, over the hill, cocky, arrogant, too full of himself, and over confident. Plus I really believe this is mostly nothing but money making boxing drama. Come now, Las Vegas ? You have o be quite naive to think there isn't a skunk in the wood pile. One other very possible thing is being an election year and Obama is in big trouble (Thank goodness), Obama needs a black hero right now. Won't help him, the rats are abandoning the Democratic liberal ship like it was the Titanic on fast track. Just food for thought. So rigged fight , maybe, by who, many suspects, big money can make some/most things happen. In my opinion Manny should have just quit while he was ahead. With his m Military duties, Congressional duties, and Family duties, one would think he is hard pressed for time and needs to realize he cannot have it all. Just my humble opinion.
You're obviously judging the fight based on Manny's out of the ring actions? Coming from an "experienced" fighter like yourself, I would think your opinion on the fight would lean towards Manny. It was not even close. This is not a biased opinion cause Manny should've lost to Marquez. He clearly beat Manny, and I would think the boxing world would redeem themselves. But 2 consecutive controversial decision is b.s...
How did he score it? My friends flew in flew in from chicago and we watched at the MGM lobby. Even the Bradley/ mayweather fans couldnt believe it. Then they proceeded to laug, telling us that it was payback for the Marquez fight. If thats the case, boxing as I know it is now bvlls!t...
