Just enjoying my first cuppa java made from the locally supplied "Negrense" Native coffee.

Best coffee I've had in a long time, cant wait to try the "Canlooan" next.

They see it in beans in resealable foil bags in the coffee section.

I thoroughly enjoyed my coffee this morning. To me it seemed like perfectly roasted, top quality coffee from right here on Negros Island. The flavor was awesome too.

Mar, what kind of coffee maker do you use for it? I can't take NesCafe Gold any longer and need to buy a coffee maker. Thanks

I use an imported coffee press. (French press). I think it's the best brewing method for quality coffee.

    french press

    PatO...
i use a press also, it's simple to use and easy to clean. i'm pretty sure i saw presses at robinson's department store but i have an extra bodum press if you want to try it out before you buy (just pmail me). depending on the filter in a press, a coarse grind is usually recommended for presses and the store bought ground coffee can be too fine for the best brew but works if you press real slow..

btw, i bought a bag of the "Negrense" dark roast coffee and musta got a bad bag and i normally like dark roast (that doesn't taste burnt). i think the Monks' Blend brand from mindinao at robinsons is a lot more drinkable.

    norm : ))~
