Is anyone using iPhone messaging from here to the U.S.? Not sure what is happening, I tried it and my Globe phone bill was 3,400p. Ouch. My settings must be screwed up, no problems Facetime though so not sure of the proper settings.
Globe has powersurf.. you can choose the amount of internet package you want but if i were you you take the 1GB per month for only 500 pesos. just get the sim and cut it to put it in your iphone. internet sim lets you do only the internet and not call. you can use also your imessage. i think facetime calling is only applicable for wifi for now.
I am using the same Globe post-paid package I had on my cell phone, and I have wifi on when using the iPhone to the US. But I will check with Globe and see if there is a catch in the standard post-paid program.
