My wife and I were there today and one of the owners, Peter said surprise we have garlic bread now!! Now I have to give my major complaint!!! I saw the xlr 200 outside, but couldn't figure out witch cute waitress sat on the seat:p.

Now here I go.. I had the special of the day, Lasagna Ala bleep halla cheese what? It was delicious! and arrived in less than 5 minutes, my wife had the fettuccine pasta and she loved it too.

The prices are very fair, the servings were big and the service cant be any better..

A major thumbs up from my Wife and I.

Finally, went to Pasta King after the FU floating lights thing last night . . . Opted for the Meat balls, and the bread with tomatoes n garlic. The service was quick and all the waitresses attentive and wearing the welcoming smile, lacking from some establishments . . . Gf initially turned her nose up at the look of the food, but one meat ball later and she was hooked . . Even she said 'can we come back' . . Miss Fussy asking to go back . . . WOW . . Thumbs up from her, Thumbs up from me . . . . Lots of people coming and going, good trade last night . .

I have eaten there twice. The pasta sauce it totally authentically Italian. Best sauce I have ever eaten. Meat balls out excellent. Service 100%. My only complaint was no bread or garlic bread issue. Now that they serve real bread instead of silly bread sticks I will be going back real soon. I have heard that the ribs are really good too. Maybe I will try them on my next visit. View attachment 8538

    pasta king

Pasta King was well thought out, kitchen in plain view, clean, spagatti and meatballs for 150, this place is cool, prices are great, food is great, the guy running it is a an old legend, cooked for the old stars, cooked for a few presidents of the united states, he is a celeb. in his own right. just a fun nice place to go.. and you know it's safe and clean and well run, I'm glad this guy did it right, wish for some bread though, hear it's in the works.... try it out, I give it 4 stars, for the price and the quaility....

I returned once again to Pasta King. Spaggetti (sp) and meatballs. They were great. The garlic bread was bad. Burnt on the bottom and the bread caved in like a cake does when the oven is opened too early. It was like like eating the toasted crust from from a bun. It was hard to chew just like most of the beef here. I think they would be better off using Italian bread. Would I go back? Of course!

The dining environment is good for conversation

Everyone mentions the food and service, but what about the environment. I have only eaten at Pasta King once but it was a good experience. I went to another restaurant with a date the other night. I had been there before and the barbecue food was very good...American like. However when we entered the eating area, the music was blasting, I have learned to handle tha here in the noisy Philippines, but what was very difficult and unpleasant was that the the place next store had similar loud music or band playing at the same time. There were no windows in either place. So there were two heavily amplified music systems going at the same time. Consequently we were unable to have a conversation there. Since the service was slow it was not a pleasant experience. We tried to talk a few times but the acoustics did not allow it.

I then thought of Pasta King, and how enjoyable the environment was to eat there. I actually had a conversation with a date there. Next time I have a date, I will take her to Pasta King if I want to talk with her...if not it is barbecue again...hahahaha
