    You know that mysterious film that just appears on the inside of your windshield and you "don't "smoke ? Well, fumes, vapors/ gases/ from the plastics and vinyl that make up probably 90% of the interior of your vehicle. And it continues on until all that material decays away into your lungs and the atmosphere. Ever wonder why they say not to store water in a plastic bottle in a hot car ? And some worry about a tad of diesel smoke. Do you think the auto industry , plastics industry, vinyl industry, and so on cares about you in old age ? Nope, they know you will only be buying cars for so long anyhow until you are too feeble to drive. Do you know the word "EXPENDABLE" ?

    because of no pollution ?

    as far as pollution (or is it polluted rain?) in the south negros area...
    i've been measuring the rain for about 6 years and for several years when i lived in panamá, unfiltered rain water was my main source of drinking water during the 8 month rainy season.

    here, i wouldn't drink the rain without some serious water treatment. following are the links to rain samples taken near saiton. i've also sampled in bacong both in the flatlands and around 1200 ft elv. above bacong proper with basically the same results.

    1a is a sample taken the day after a 1'' rain following a rainy period.
    2a is a sample taken after 5 days of no rain.
    2b is sample 2a let stand for 5 hours after i took the sample from the rain gauge.
    3a is a sample taken after 3 weeks of no rain.
    3b is sample 3a settled out.

    Just this week 2 aluminum pop rivets holding up the angle braces on one of our air-con brackets broke due to corrosion, like you'll see on a poorly maintained car/truck battery, This bracket is only one year old. Now someone try and tell me there isn't much pollution in Dumaguete. Acid rain & who knows. I have seen acid rain destroy aluminum chairs in a matter of years before.
    Yes sir folks, what we need in Dumaguete is more uncontrolled building with little to no parking spaces, using more already expensive kuryente, and encouraging even more motorcycles, pedicabs, polluting. Now before anyone says anything about cars, first tell me where your catalytic converter is on your motorcycles and pedicabs ?
    Personally I do not trust them anyhow. They are just another giant money making scam by the Green people. Your cars have so much usless junk on them for your safety it is criminal. Drive like a rational human being and the price of you cars can easily be reduced by 20% or more.
    Now take a deep breath , relax, suck on your COPD deveice, oxygen bottle and have a fun day. Life is short.

    LOL sitting on the boulevard trying to get fresh air . Surely one of the worst places i have been in the RP for getting fresh air .
    All the trikes spewing exhaust downtown makes that boat look like a small garbage fire .

    I don't get it. Why do you expect quality air while sitting somewhere near Rizal Boulevard when you know it's beside a road where vehicles that emit smoke are passing every minute? :D
