I have had a couple expats tell me it is possible to drive to dumageute by land from Taglibran. But when i ask locals here they say they dont think that is possible. Thus i have two questions. One, is it possible to drive to Dumaguete from Taglibran and Second, is there a ferry for your vehicle to ride on if not.

I'm guessing that you mean Tagbilaran, Bohol. Bohol is an island, Negros is a different island. It's a fairly common occurence for two islands to be separated by water. Any attempt to drive between the two could be quite an embarrassment. :o

There are plenty of ferry services from Bohol to a variety of destinations, including Dumaguete.

I don't think there is a direct Ro-Ro ferry between Tagbilaran and Dumaguete.
If you have a car you can use the car ferry between Bohol and Cebu island (between CarCar and Bato) then drive to Liloan or Bato and take the Maayo ferry to Tampi or Sibulan.

There are several boats daily (Lite Shipping) from Loon, Bohol (30 Km NW of Tag) to Taloot (between Argao and Carcar). Cost for a motorcycle is around P250, for a car around P1000. From there one can drive down the coast of Cebu and take one of three roros across to Negros on either Tan Juan or Maayo shipping(Roughly same price as Loon/Taloot, boats nearly every hour).

It makes a nice day trip.
