I am in the last stages of building my house in Valencia. Over the next three weeks most of my workers will become unemployed. It has not been easy to find good people, but, now that I have them, I find it a shame to let them go. I have general mason/carpenters and general laborers as well as a finish painter that have all done really good job work. I also know a good electrician. They have all been very dedicated and hard-working. Some of them would be willing to live-in during your construction project to provide security for your tools and materials. If you are interested, please contact me. If you wish to see the work they are capable of, you are also welcome to come and visit my construction project in Valencia. Just pm me or reply here. Thanks.

Painter / Plasterer Well, we have found jobs now for most of my guys. I still have a good painter / plasterer that will be finsished in my house on Saturday if anybody is interested. He did a really good job seam-filling the gyproc and hardiflex on my ceilings and had some good advice for my paint choices. Although, I did not use any fancy painting techniques, like marbling or texturing, he says he can do alll that also. If interested, just contact me and I will give you his cell number or help arrange for you to meet him. Steve
Steve, what I also did for the members of my construction crew was to write them a really nice letter of recommendation that they could show at other jobsites in the future. I wanted to ask you if you're painter was that fellow with the clean-shaven head. I can't remember his name right off the bat, but he was quite a good worker and talented painter. Also, was Ame your electrician? Cheers, M
My painter was actually a tall guy about 40 years old, black hair, originally from Manila. Instead of simply doing the normal seam filling on my ceilings, he plastered the entire ceiling. and it only required minimum sanding. There are no visible marks on the ceiling and the finish appears very professional. My electrician, Jake, is also very good. He rewired my outdoor sensor lights so that that can be used both as motion detectors and as normal floodlights.
