I visited Plantation Bay about 2 years ago. I visited Bohol about one year ago. I was not on an anniversary excursion trip in either case. So your goals may be a little different than mine were. I was looking for a adventure in Bohol. Plantation Bay was probably more of an romance adventure.

My problem with Plantation Bay primarily centered on the hype not meeting the physical environment. Being from Southern California, and the Disneyland effect. I expected something a little more refined. For the Philippines viewpoint Plantation Bay is probably great. The Filipina I was with liked it. Everyone seems to like Bohol.

Cdo trip was not one of the greatest, primarily because I got sick, and the lady I was suppose to meet was a little too conservative for my taste....no love connection. I did not feel I had the energy to go rafting which would have been fun. So I really did not get a chance to see a lot there. Due to my physical condition, it was not a fair trial of Cdo. I would hope if I would visit again it would be a better experience. There is Festival there in August, and I was hoping to get a little information on that prior to going there.

Definitely have plans for Bohol on our next trip as well. When we arrived in Cebu, several people asked if we were going to Alona Beach, and riding the OceanJet from Cebu to Duma it did seem like the majority of the foreigners got off in Tagbilaran.
